After Incarceration

​After Incarceration uses restorative practice to transform the reentry experience. Our community-centered model supports people directly impacted by policies of over-policing, excessive punishment, and mass incarceration. We structure equitable decision-making spaces, and empower people to emerge as the leaders their communities need. Moving at the speed of trust, we draw upon the strength of our shared humanity. Together we can counter the false narratives that divide us. Collectively we can create restorative ways forward.

After Incarceration, the organization, is growing and ever-evolving. If you or someone you know is or has been incarcerated, your voice is so important. If you believe there's a better way than our current carceral system, come, let's build it together. If you just want to learn and grow with us, that's great too.
